Legal & privacy

Clear boundaries for a useful starting point.

CityFit keeps ownership, public data, practical limits, and privacy in separate, plain-language statements.

What CityFit owns

CityFit’s original interface, writing, illustrations, and software are protected to the extent allowed by law. The notice © 2026 CityFit identifies that claim. CityFit does not claim ownership of facts, place names, or public records.

Public data and third parties

Source agencies and other providers keep any rights they hold in their material. U.S. federal government works may be in the public domain under U.S. law, while agency names, logos, trademarks, contractor material, and linked third-party content can follow separate rules. A source link does not imply that an agency endorses CityFit.

A starting point, not a verdict

CityFit provides general information, not legal, tax, financial, real-estate, or safety advice. Taxes vary by property and household. Reported-crime figures describe reports received by the named agency for a stated period and coverage area; they do not predict personal safety. Check current primary sources and qualified local professionals before making an important decision.

Privacy on the current public site

The current public service does not offer accounts, request precise location, accept community posts, or run advertising or behavioral analytics. Hosting and security infrastructure necessarily receives standard request data such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time to deliver and protect the service. CityFit does not use those request records to build precise location histories or sell personal information.

Before the service grows

Before CityFit introduces accounts, deliberate location verification, analytics, or community content, it must publish an updated notice explaining purpose, retention, sharing, and user choices before collection begins.
